I lost a diamond out of my ering ... thank god it isn't the center stone, but its still kinda upsetting... FH got the insurance and replacement option so its being fixed but I'm not gonna have it until Tuesday!
Has this happened to anyone else??? I'm really bummed

Littman Jewelers... they are really doing right by us: reinforcing all the side stones and replacing the prong, its just bugging me cuz it's supposed to last a lifetime and I know that he paid a lot for it... AND the fact that I don't have it on- I feel NAKED!
You can really see it too well, (I think there is actually a better picture of MY ring in the rose he gave me on my wedding website) but there are the stones on either side of the main diamond and then the ones on the prongs... I lost one of those side ones.

aww - at least it can be fixable! My friend slammed her in the car door and had to send it away for a few weeks! I know, I feel naked if I don't have it on either... at least you'll get it back soon!

This is a better shot... I MISS IT!!! Its not even the physical form of the ring... I just love to look down at it and have that 'omg, I'm getting married' feeling.
You're right though, it could be alot worse- I just hate the people that are like 'WOW, what happened, you don't have your ring on?'

Well, I work at a Bridal salon so weddings is all anyone thinks about... I mustve been asked about 15 times today where my ring was

he couldn't do the 6 prong because of the diamonds on the prongs... but yes, thank god he got insurance!

that *****... the same thing kept happening to my sister, because she got her ring re-sized... every so often one of the small diamonds falls out and she has to give it to the jeweler to get fixed... she has insurance too so it covers it
