E-Ring the day of

HI Gals,

So what is the proper thing to do with your e-ring before the ceremony??? i've heard different things. Like you're supposed to wear it on the other hand and then move it back after the ceremony. or that you're not supposed to wear it at all. does it go back on your left hand as part of the ceremony... or sometime afterwards??? maybe that night???
I'm so confused!

i heard a lot of girls say that they wore it on the other hand and then switched it back on the left hand after the church. i think thats what i am going to do, or at least have it with me so that i can put it on after the church.

Probably just have him put the band on, without the E-ring during the ceremony, then add the E-ring later. It might look a little strange, but I guess it'll do for the ceremony!

I'm leaving it on the left hand, but my situation is a little different. We're Greek Orthodox and the wedding band goes on the right hand.

I'm probably going to wear it on my right hand, if it's not on me at all times I'll be paranoid that someone will leave it behind that day

My ering is being combined with my wedding ring to make one big ring so I wont have it...but if I did I would still just wear it on my left hand and have FH slip the wedding band on....but that is just me...do what you want.

i technically have 2 erings i was thinking about wearing them both on my right hand till after the ceremony then move the diamond e-ring back over.

I wore mine on my left hand for the beginning of the ceremony. Once DH put my ring on i put it back on while we were sitting there.

You know what, my ring does not fit on my right hand! My fingers look the same size but I guess they totally are not!
My dad reminded me that I broke my finger in grammar school so my knuckle is probably bigger.

I go totally insane without my ring on...so I will be wearing it on my right hand as well... I'll just switch in the limo or something when I have a chance to collect myself. LOL

I'm probably going to wear it on my left hand like I usually do, and have him put the wedding band on top of it.

I'm probably going to wear it on left hand, because it won't fit on my right hand. Plus we're just going to get simple metal bands with no engraving or diamonds, so it won't look tacky to have too many things going on at once. Ugh, not that diamonds are tacky, you know what I mean.
