Re: e-ring/insurance
I heard you can go to Jeweler's Mutual (something like that), without having to put the ring on your homeowner's insurance or renter's insurance.

State Farm
Re: e-ring/insurance
Doesnt matter where the ring is from, you should most def get insurance! Get an apprasial form and then you can get insurance through your renter's insurance or car insurance. You can add it to the plan, its called a rider
Re: e-ring/insurance
I called up my homeowners insurance and asked them and ended up doing it through them - Travelers on Long Island - it's a 'Personal article floater policy' - all I had to do was fax in my appraisal and it was about $150 a year, depends on the value of the ring. Covers everything (loss or theft) and no deductible. FM me if you want a contact name for who I use. I did it over the phone and via fax. :) It was easy and now I have peace of mind.
