i cant stop crying this morning...i was so nervous about the fact that there would be rain today for our eshoot...well last night when I heard that it wasnt going to be so bad I got super excited...I have been waiting months for it and now its here...
i wake up this morning to a text from my photographer sent at 1am saying that we had to cancel cause the weather was going to be awful......
ITS GORGEOUS OUT NOW and I am so upset.....we dont have a reschedule date yet and its going to stop being nice out soon....
I dont know if I am overreacting but its upsetting to know that it was canceled.....i dont want to do anything today now.

Sorry about your e-shoot you're not overreacting, this is upsetting. Did you speak to your photographer yet? What time was your shoot supposed to start, I would call and say since the weather isn't bad you expect them to be ready to shoot as scheduled.

I would be upset also. You can't call the weather the night before, unless its like a hurricane or something!
I'd call them now and explain how upset you are, and ask if there's anyway you can still do them.

I know how you feel. I had to reschedule my epics twice because of the weather. I would call them and explain how you feel and get a new date.

we are in the process of rescheduling...we were supposed to shoot at 10am...the only thing that I agree with was that it was hazy which could have been a real problem for shooting so I suppose I have to look at it in a pos light and just hope for amazing weather when we resched.
Just bummed...it has def ruined my day :(

I would have been bummed but if mine were today I would have wanted to reschedule. I would want the weather to be perfect or close to it as possible and today (at least by me) it's been very dreary and muggy. Hopefully you'll get perfect weather for your reschedule!! GL!

You're better off that it was cancelled regardless if the weather turned out not being that bad. The weather was iffy on the day of our first shoot but cleared up so we decided to go through with the first shoot. As we were driving to our E-Pics Location, the sky looked like the earth was about to end. We literally took 5 pictures outside & then the rest were taken inside. We wound up doing a second shoot b/c my photographer felt bad that it rained. We lovedddd our second shoot and would never have had the chance to take pictures at CitiField if it didn't rain during shoot #1 but trust me, it was a hassle. Had to reschedule everything from the photographer to my hair and makeup.

I agree with Jill though. It would have been a better call to wait until the morning because we all know how weather can change so quickly.
Either way, it's done so now you'll look forward to your new date and your pics will be fantastic!
