Hi ladies - I am looking to do my e-shoot within the next month and we're undecided on where to take them. We are having a rusticy/vintage/romantic themed wedding, so we don't want very formal gardens. I love Old Bethpage Restoration, but my FH isn't really feeling it. Anyone know of anything a bit more refined, but still gives that rustic look?
Also, FH is very into music, so we're open to doing something music related.
Thanks in advanced!

We did ours where we got engaged. We ended up choosing to do our e-pics where we got engaged because our photographer suggested we do our e-pics somewhere that was meaningful to us because it def comes across in pictures. At first I hadn't even thought of that, but it really was nice to capture our pictures in such a meaningful place. Just some food for thought!

Northport Harbor would be perfect for you. It's an old town with cute shops and there's still trolly tracks going down main street. Such a cute town.. Has an old style ice cream shoppe too. FH and I will definitely be taking our engagement pictures there.. We both played down there in the park as kids and just love going down there at night sitting by the water on the swings :)
ETA: make sure you google the town calendar of events. I know in the summer it gets busy.. Saturday there's a farmers market in the morning and different festivals. During the week would be best.. Less crowded.

Hallockville Farm Museum in Jamesport or any of the North Fork vineyards if you want something rustic!

Great idea - Not sure if we want to go all the way out to the North Fork, as we are in Nassau County...we can't do where we got engaged because my FH brought me to the first place he told me he loved me, which was his old job, AKA a huge warehouse building - not very romantic :) Will definitely check out Northport though!
