Dr. recommended I use over the counter ear drops to help remove wax. I bought them and used it for the first time last night. My ears are really clogged today!
Anyone use them? Is this supposed to happen?

I had awful earaches as a child...and my mother used to give me eardrops...
I would lay down on the couch on my side...and she would put the drops in...I would listen to it crackle and when the crackling slowed down...I would put a towel over my ear and flip my head the other way to 'drain it' and a little swipe with a qtip
I don't remember the first treatment...but my guess is that the wax broke up...and settled...so maybe after a few times it will be better...
but I am not a doctor...

Thanks! I called the dr. just in case but he hasn't called back yet. It's so annoying!

I've used them, but had an awful earache a few hours after so I don't use them anymore. Instead, now I just go to an ENT to have it removed. Good luck.
