Early leavers???

Did anyone have people say yes at the wedding, and wind up having to leave early before the food came???

Whats up with that? And why didn't they say they would leave early so we wouldnt have to pay for the seat?

I was surprised, I mean, Liza was trying to dance and have fun and for like the last TWO hours, she was constantly being interrupted by people who wanted to say goodbye to her!

no - what pissed me off - and I put my foot down, was while I was crying my eyes out when Angelo was dancing with Megan to '100 years' and people saw this as a 'downtime' to come over and say goodbye to me! I just told them - wait - I want to watch this!

One of my bridesmaids (DH's sis) left 1 hour into the reception because she was fighting with her husband. A friend of mine left after salad to go to a club that night. Pretty mad about that!!!!

You see I would not care if someone leaves (I am not going to hold them hostage) but this is really disrespectful for the bride and groom and/or whoever paid for the RH. You spend so much money and you invite people you think want to be there since you are paying for them to be there.

When in fact, some people could not care less. Total lack of tact.

I am afraid of this too, I am having a Sunday wedding and we added an hour, I didn't even bother adding the VH because I fear people would leave early and it would be a waste. I want to see if I can add ½ hour to CH and ½ hour to Reception to break it up.

my FFIL has already told FH and i that he doesn't think he'll stay 'that long' at the reception with his GF and their 6 kids! so chances are we will have to pay for them all even though they will only be there for like an hour or so!!!!!
