Early morning bridal foolishness

Early morning bridal foolishness

So...I hate wearing heels but love how they look and know I have to wear them on my wedding day. I'm usually the first girl to take off her shoes on the dance floor but one of my BMs made me paranoid about taking my shoes off and my hem being too long and I end up dragging my gown all over the floor all night to save my feet.

So...I've decided to try to 'break my shoes in'. I don't even know if this will work..but I think it's pretty funny how I'm clicking around the house, making breakfast in my bridal shoes I wonder if I can take out the garbage in these things

It's the little things that keep me sane...18 days

ways to break in your shoes without breaking your feet.

take newspaper and crumple into a ball then STUFF the newspaper into the shoes... make sure its in there tight.

buy dr. scholls heel pads and sole cushions-> they are a god send (but be careful, once they're in.. they're in)

wear your shoes will sitting down, gradually wear them while standing.. it'll help stretch them.

my flip flops are too tight and they're wedges.. so i'll prob only wear those for pictures cause i'm not walking on the grass in my heels. but they hurt like hell, and i can't take my own advice because you cant stuff flip flops with newspaper... i keep wanting to bring them to work to wear at my desk but i always forget.

I totally walked around my apartment wearing socks and my shoes (in case my feet were dirty) and plastic bags on the outside! I need to do that again soon...

Oh wow! Thanks for the tips. I never even considered wedged flip flops for a little height but more comfort. After I finish breakfast I'm gonna stuff them with newspaper. I'm really amusing myself...I wish I had an apron to complete the look

I ended up wearing my shoes to my cousins Bachelorette Party to break them in. It worked a little bit but I also decided on a kitten heel so that when I took my shoes off the dress wasn't too long where I would be tripping over it.

Also, I have my seamstress (after much fighting with her) to make the dress a little shorter so that my shoes showed while I walked down the aisle. You pay so much money and so much time to find the perfect shoe, might as well show them off.

I wear my shoes all over my apt! My downstairs neighbors do not like me I am sure. They look fabulous with pjs and a turbie twist in your hair!

I wear nylon stockings on my feet and fold them over the shoe to protect from accidental damage.

I was told to wear the stockings on feet to protect shoes if your feet sweat and the fabric changes color.

I wore them all over the house and for our dance lessons to break them in. Then I took them to be professionally stretched. I also bought then a 1/2 size too big and put insoles in them. That way at the end of the night, when my feet started sweating, I took the insoles out and they were instantly a 1/2 size bigger again! It worked perfect and I wore my shoes all day.

HAHAHA! Can't wait to wear them with pjs! Maybe I'll finally put on the white 'Bride' robe I got from VS as a shower gift...sexy sexy!

I wore them outside to take out the trash. I kinda wanna scuff up the bottoms so they have a better grip, so they're not slippery when I'm walking or dancing.
