I'm having my BM who is an artist paint me my table #s and I want them to sit on an easel/plate holder. They will be approx 5x7. Here is a picture of what I mean. It can be plain, simple, anything - you're not going to see it. But, the cheapest I can find is $4.99 each and I have 19 tables! I think that is too much $$. Any ideas where I can find something like this cheaper?
Have you tried a craft store? Maybe some dollar stores?

Re: Easel/Plate Holder
you can definately do better.
I bought some plastic ones for 75 cents each! The problem is, I can't remember where I bought them from! Definately do a search on google.
Here are mine:
My table names are a little larger than 5 X 7.
******I just remembered! A place called Cherubs Chocolates! Do a search for their contact info!**************

Re: Easel/Plate Holder
I live in Hoboken and my parents are in Suffolk so anything in Nassau is too hard for me to get to. But, thanks Curly!
Radiostar - those plastic ones would be great! You bought them online? I did search on google - that is where I found the one I posted. I searched once under easel and once under plate holder. What did you use in your search?
Thanks!

Re: Easel/Plate Holder
I found these for .70 each. Are they okay? You won't really see them. What do you think?
I ordered them! Not crazy about them but I'm sick of looking - I've been looking for a few weeks! They are one of those details that aren't worth spending a fortune on! I had to order a few more than needed b/c the minimum order is $20, but still a good deal!

Did you order them? I need them too, maybe we can combine the order, so you don't have to order extra that you won't use?

Re: Easel/Plate Holder
I saw some decorative ones in Michael's Craft store. Or you can check out a bridal craft store that specializes in bridal accessories.

In case anyone else is looking - I got mini easels from Ikea yesterday - .99cents each. They are plain wood & look like mini artist's easels.

Michelle - I did order them already. I got 23 of them. How many do you need? Your wedding is after mine, if you want we can split it and I'll send them to you after my wedding? Let me know!
