Re: East Wind Brides

I have so many questions for them for minor things... I may make an appointment with my BM and go over lots of stuff... but I might only do that after I book my major vendors (got get the important things done first).

Re: East Wind Brides

My questions are really specific but here's some that pop right into my head...

1) How many guests per table? (To help me determine how many tables I will have, so I know the number of centerpieces I will need). I posted about this awhile ago but have yet to call....

2) Chocolate Fountain prices

3) I got the Champagne and Strawberries Welcome so when my guests walk in they will be served with this before ceremony. I wanted to see if possibly I can add another drink that is specific to my cultural backround.
And there is also a few other drinks I would like served again that relate to my culture.

4) I heard there is a No Shot policy... I wanted to see how strict they are with this. Like, if my guests order shots will they be served?

5) I am worried about Brunch in Desmonds during my wedding. I am in the Southampton so I am worried there will be a ton of people roaming in the lobby. I am strongly considering the twilight hours.

I think you get the idea... Am I asking a lot of questions? Is this reasonable? Am I starting to lose it?

totally reasonable!

you have some good questions

what is your cultural background ? maybe you can do it as a signature drink rather than at the arrival

Yeah i headr the choc thing is $500 something & $1 extra PP, which i will not pay, i mean the rental fee is good enough, extra money PP is nonsense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am Portuguese...there is like a drink (called a 'Portuguese Martini' but not like regular Martini's at all) that they like to drink before eating a meal so it wouldn't really be a good drink to have for the whole reception. I would like to do Sangria there too and that was another drink question to ask....

Re: East Wind Brides

i think they can def. do those and as a signature drink it can be available all night and they cold pass it around at cocktail hour and have a little sign like thing on bar explaining what it is, i think it is a great idea

my best friend booked 7/4/06 at the East wind!

I almost booked that exact date I would have booked with East Wind if they had my July 3rd date. They only had the 4th open and I was going to budge, but my fiance made me realize that it was too far for our guests. It also would have been hard for me to travel there for the planning. I wish all of you ladies a great wedding!!!!

you dont have to answer if you dont want, BUT if you dont mind, what are you paying per person...?
i dont know why it seems like i am paying more than so many other ew brides on here, i know i have extras BUT my pp seems a bit high... very concerned!

Hey there! Thinking about booking our wedding at East Wind - it has everything we're looking for. Accept I'm a little concerned that there could be 3 other weddings going on at the same time. Does this at all impact your day? I was told you woudln't even see/hear the other events, but just wanted some input from other people.

For those of you with nighttime affairs, are you suggesting your guests stay over at the Inn or are you using the Hampton Inn or somewhere else?

I have about 11 rooms of family and friends staying at the inn and we blocked rooms at the best western
