Hey there! Thinking about booking our wedding at East Wind - it has everything we're looking for. Accept I'm a little concerned that there could be 3 other weddings going on at the same time. Does this at all impact your day? I was told you woudln't even see/hear the other events, but just wanted some input from other people.
My wedding is at the estate- so I doubt i will see any other brides...I am not concerned AT ALL! I dont know about the ballrooms though-
As for it impacting your service, I cant imagine it doing so- i worked at a catering hall that had more than one wedding at a time -watermill- and honestly there were never problems with service- there are waiters and waitresses ONLY for your room/tables ...they wont have 'double duty'

Is that b/c you are having an evening wedding? The afternoon affairs end around 6, so that makes sense. Anyone know what time we can arrive before an afternoon ceremony?

Re: East Wind Brides
just thought that I would let you know that East Wind now offers a wedding planning service that offers assitance with vendors and all little details. I got a letter in the mail yesterday and I called them today to find out about it! I asked so many questions it was crazy!! They will be offering invites at a discount as well as other services. And they you can order menu cards through the invitation service! Also, for girls who plan on doing candles, they must be in or on something to prevent wax from getting all over the tables!!

When I asked about the choc fountain they told me it was $1.95 pp but they never told me about any rental fee and i have on my contract how much it is per person only but that was back in jan 2005 and our wedding is this year.

Unfortunately, they told me 1/2 hour before too. I am having an afternoon wedding at the Inn and because the Estate afternoon weddings begin before the Inn, I can only get there half an hour ahead of time.
