Re: East Wind Brides

I did not reserve rooms at the inn for my wedding day b/c I felt they were too expensive and did not want to hold the rooms on my credit card just in case! Now people are saying that they wanted to stay at the inn and all the rooms are booked for my day already!! Crazy! So girls, block out your rooms early!! Good thing I blocked rooms at the Best western and the Hampton inn!

Hi Ladies!! Two Questions:

1- Are any of you taking pics nearby? If so, where?

2- For girls who are having their ceremony at the Estate, what are you doing for an indoor alternative? My mom called and they don't provide you with an indoor arbor, so hw do you plan to decorate? I am concerned, because if I am planning on having the ceremoy outdoors, then I will not have ordered flowers, etc...

My church will be over by 4..and my CH is @ 7

My photographer said we have more than enough time..esp since we pass all these places along the way!!!!

We'll probably get back to east wind around 6-630 for the final pics...

Mine told me that you really dont spend as long as one would think at the photo site... if everyone cooperates it goes pretty quickly....

How long do you think the mass will be...an hour?????

Thanks! I just called to block rooms, but was transferred into someone's voicemail. What's the deal with booking a block? We have to leave a 50% deposit, but do we get it back? I mean, no offense to my guests, but I wasn't planning on paying for half of their room!
Plus, if we only block 10 rooms, but need more, then what? And if we book more rooms (let's say 13), but only have a need for 10 rooms in the end, will we get the $ back?
