The decor is sooooo dark their you might want to sitck with a lighter color flower.......DID u see mine??? i have pics if you need....

I will try e-mailing Laurie w/ the pictures of the chairs and see what she says. I'm sad though because I really love those lavender roses...my favorite.

I called EW Country Gardens today and here's what I found out....
Shannon is no longer there. She's who FH and I met with and who helped us booked East Wind. She was super sweet. I called and spoke with Liz, who is our new contact person at the Country Gardens.
They also only do the escorted seating at the Country Gardens. This is for two reasons. 1) The C.G. is for smaller weddings, 150 max, any larger and it would be too chaotic. and 2) Since the cocktail hour and reception are in two different buildings, it's easier to escort couples across the grounds than it would be to have everyone lined up outside the reception hall looking for their place card.
I know some things are different for the Country Gardens than for the Estate or the Inn, so this post might not apply to all EW brides, but I hope it helps some!

I did get my choclate fountain from another vendor besides East Wind, but I booked it before East Wind ever had the fountain.

hmmm so i wonder if they will let us, I need to compile a list and call to get them answered, cause when i booked i feel like they sold me a song and a dance and now things are different, i am kind of annoyed to be honest (ok done with my vent)

Work with Michelle. She is awesome! I'm working with her for the Inn so I don't know if she works the Estate too but its worth a shot. I love her!

Just wanted to say that I am booked at the Estate and Michelle is my BM. I haven't had much contact with her yet b/c my wedding is in 07 but I met with her 2x and she is very nice and sweet!

Which Michelle is it? Do you know her last name because when I booked, I booked with Michelle Ryan and she was so awesome, but she left a little while after. After that everyone I seemed to deal with was horrible.

I would just request her next time you have questions or need to go over something like menus, linens, etc. You shouldn't have to formally change your BM because they told me that they all work together anyway.
She is definitely not a used car salesman and will help you out.

Great question. I didn't think a BM would be there, just a Bridal Attendant and a Maitre D'.
Its a good question to ask next time you speak to them.
