Great question. I didn't think a BM would be there, just a Bridal Attendant and a Maitre D'.

Its a good question to ask next time you speak to them.

any new updates

Just blocked my rooms. Got 10 rooms for $183.00 a piece. Not bad. I already have people calling to reserve them.

I don't like how they don't refund the deposit until 2 weeks B4 the wedding. Shouldn't you get the $$ back as soon as all the rooms book up?? hmmm.

Anyway, the lady is Michelle Testa for those who were wondering in previous posts. I saw her again at the Showcase and she was sweet as usual.

I also found out that so far I'm the only bride for my date at the Inn.

I also decided to go with high centerpieces. I think they make my room (Southhampton) look very elegant.

We also decided to get ready at the Inn since our ceremony is there as well.

no i still havent heard and i havent receiveed anything in the mail either, so odd- but i guess with all the weddings/brides someone is bound to get lost in the mix, for now I dont need anything so I am fine, but as soon as I do I will give them a call myself!

Thats great about booking your honeymoon! I thought you were thinking Greek Isles? DO TELL about your honeymoon!

I want to book the honeymoon by october, our september is really busy, and cash flow is low since we bought the house, and I havent had any paychecks- teacher with a 21 month pay schedule sooo we need to wait til i start work up again... MONDAY! AHHH

I doubt I will be able to make it to the Oct. showcase because they usually fall during the week and I cant treck back to CT on a weekday that late at night... Hopefully it will be on a holiday weekend so that I dont have to work the next day! You will have to eat some choc. fountain for me if I dont go since last time we didnt get any!

I have an appt tonight with the EW planner. They just called me this weekend and my wedding is in March so Im sure they'll get to you guys soon.

Was thinking about the greek isles but Fh and I decided it was way too expensive not to mention the value of the American dollar there is worthless! So the vacation would have cost about 7 or 8 thousand dollars after all was said and done. So we are staying at a very nice hotel located a few blocks from downtown cabo. They have a Nikki beach right at the hotel (trendy club) and apparently they are centrally located to just about everything! Mainly adults stay at this hotel! We were thinking of staying at a real ritzy hotel there but decided we rather be closer to town and stay at a really nice one! i did a lot of research on Trip Advisor to find out feedback on the hotels!

I would contact Scott at the EW (the guy we spoke with the night of the showcase) I think he is the bridal planner! I spoke with him I think!???

I just received a letter about their GIRLS NITE OUT. Has anyone been to one of these? What is it all about? It sound like it could be helpful. Is anyone going? I need all the help I can get and if they are offerin, then I am takin. See ya soon. ...and they said something about champagne sipping. I'll be chug-a-luggin more so than sippin.

My church will be over by 4..and my CH is @ 7

My photographer said we have more than enough time..esp since we pass all these places along the way!!!!

We'll probably get back to east wind around 6-630 for the final pics...

I dont want to sound stupid but what does 'bump' mean?

Not a stupid question at all...there are plenty of acronyms and phrases here that I have yet to figure out!

When someone 'bumps' a message, it moves it (bumps it) to the top of the message board so it becomes one of the most recent posts.

Another east wind bride here. I'm getting married at the estate on 5/28 and I just booked all my vendors. I actually didn't end up using anyone that East Wind recommends - although I must admit I didn't look into them either. Now I just have to buckle down and find my BM dresses.

Questions for brides getting married at the East Wind:

I'm getting married outside (fingers crossed) at the Estate. Is anyone else who is getting married outside thinking of 'warning' the guests that there are a ton of flowers around and people who have allergies should consider taking an allergy pill or something? I was thinking of adding an insert w/ the invitations. Good idea or complicating matters?
