Has anybody seen the direction cards they provide??

What size are they? Are they nice or should I make my own?

Just wondering before I order my invitations.

They are colorful and have a picture of the room suite on the front. they were good enough with my std's but not for my invites. I am having them custom made!

Hey girls... I called the Best Western to block rooms for 5/20 & 5/21. There were no rooms available for 5/20 so she suggested that I block rooms at the new Holiday Inn Express which will be owned by the same owners of Best Western. It will be located 1 mile east of were the Best Western is located (About 7 miles east of Eastwind). The hotel is due to open mid November so I blocked rooms there... Just thought I would share. Any other ideas of where I should block would be highly appreciated!

Does anyone know if East Wind provides printed menus as part of the table setting, or do we have to provide those ourselves?

I'm starting to think of menu designs, but don't want to waste time/money if East Wind will do this for us.

I asked and was told that John, the maitre d' for the Country Gardens does them, but I had it written into my contract anyway.

Hmmm...that's very good to know. I will call them and see if I need to request that in advance. I haven't even picked my menu yet, but it's never too late to start thinking about these things!

Can you clarify if the menus at the estate are INCLUDED? that would be great Anything you ask : ) let us know the asnwers, you always have good questions that I dont even think of. When do we get direction cards? Are they included or we buy them?

My fam/friends have booked 12 rooms (I believe) at the Inn, it's already done.... should I still get cards?

BY the way, there are NO MORE rooms at all available the night of my wedding... MY aunt and uncle went to call 2 weeks ago and they are on a waiting list...

so people planning on blocking or just booking without the block...Dont wait too long, they really do fill up!

Hey Girsl!!! We did our menu yesterday...We met with John who is such a sweetheart!!!! I am so excited!!! 6 weeks and we will be married!!!!! I also went to a wedding at the Inn on Sunday night and it was AMAZING!!!! The food was awesome!!!!!

The rooms were booked for my date two months ago when people try to call!

Quick Question:

If your wedding is in the Southampton Room, during the reception which bathrooms do your guests use?

Do they go back into the CH side or are there BR's in the lobby??? I couldn't find any others.

I am in the Southhampton and I think they said to use the bathrooms in the lobby... I wanted to do bathroom baskets... (I may still!)

Also BM FRANK is no longer with Eastwind! I just called there and he is no longer there... I spoke to another BM whose name was John....
