For Southampton brides the guests use the bathrooms in the lobby, I am still doing the baskets and making a little card that says for the Guests of Bridget & Jimmy's wedding. They also do not have bathroom attendants.

Thanks for the info!! I think I will do bathroom baskets too. I dont love the idea of bathroom attendants anyway.

Just to clarify...we have to make our own menus? They don't provide them? I know it sounds stupid but I never even thought about making them!

Is any one planning on getting ready at the Inn the day of their wedding? Our ceremony is at East Wind, and I'm thinking about getting ready there.

Can anyone recommend who they are using for hair that will travel out east?

Hi! I am an Estate bride too. my wedding is in August. We booked Serenity limos b/c they have a limobus as well as cars. Also they aren't charging me an hour for the lims to return back to their garage. Soem other places were adding on an extra hour. ADA photography. Here is a tip, if you like a house photographer use them. They know where to take good shots and the maitre d usually lets them get away with more. For flowers, I am usuing a florist by my house in Garden City.
Good luck!

We live in Centereach which isn't that far but since we live together, I'm considering having one of us get ready at the Inn. We don't want to see each other before the wedding. Regarding hair people, I'm still working on that option. I have a guy but I'm not sure if he's going to come to my house or if I'm going to him. When I work that out, I'll let you know and maybe you can talk to him as well.

I am getting married there, but getting ready at home (my parents'). Hopefuly the weather will hold - I'm meeting my FH at bridge over a lake near my parents' house and that is where we're doing pics. If it rains, than we'll do pics at East Wind.

Also very happy to report that we finally BLOCKED rooms at the Inn!

Thank you! Keep me posted. I originally planned on getting ready at home, but then I got this idea in my head of getting ready at the Inn, so now I have to re-plan my day.

Re: East Wind Brides

When we booked this past week at East Wind Country Gardens, our BM was telling us about a Groom's Suite that they are building but she didn't know when it would be ready. Does anyone have any insight into this? Just curious because it would be nice if the guys and girls had their own space before the wedding.

I will definitely let you know. The whole idea of maybe getting ready at the Inn hit me this past week when we booked with Country Gardens. I'm also thinking of asking if we can extend our cocktail hour an extra 1/2 hour. Do you think this is allowed?

We are having an hour and a 1/2 CH, we're the first wedding of the day. We wanted more picture taking time. We're paying an extra $6pp - which isn't bad considering how much people eat and drink at CH's.
