Wow...I missed all these posts...
Here's what I know....

The Cake -
As for the cake, they have a book with pictures, I remember looking through it as I waiting the first time I went to meet with my BM....but when I asked BM about it, he did say we can also bring in a pic and as long as it was not too complex, they would do it!!! I agree, I want to taste the cakes too!!!!

Blocking Rooms -
We are not going to block rooms because we don't have that many OOT's. I did call in the past and you have to block at least 10 rooms and put a 50% deposit down. The rooms are $229, but if you blcok the 10, then you get 10%off. ( This is why we chose not to do it.)
The Best Western does not take a deposit for rooms and will block how many ever you want, but guests must book at least 4 weeks before wedding date or else they release the rooms....

Hope that helps!!!

So glad to hear it went so well!

(When I went they told me that the chairs in there now are the new chairs...) They even pulled a sample of the rug out for me to see and I love it! very pretty

I would not say there was a lot, to be honest. But they are very open to suggestions...all you would have to do is bring in a picture and see.
