we booked ADA photographer, and Soundchoice DJ. Did you meet with Jenn from East Wind when you booked she was real sweet.

We booked ADA too! and Long Island Sound for DJ! We met with Michelle when we booked, she was great too.

you can do a search for ADA. I have seen alot of post saying that Big JOhn is good. I think its best to go see them and look at all their work. What is good for someone else might not be good for you....

I am going to make an appt with ADA, did you guys ask for a specific photographer ?? have you heard anything about Tony from ADA??

I would highly suggest not booking w/ ADA. My friend got married at the Estate at East Wind and used ADA. She said they were horrible. the photographer (not John) was at the bar most of the night. They deleted all of her digital photos so she lost all of them, and only got her pictures a few weeks ago (and got married 2 years ago). And she was extremely disappointed with her album.

Ladies, what is the difference between the Estate at EW and the Grand Ballroom? I looked at their website but didn't see a big difference.

Both ADA and Marco (EW vendors) did not impress me at the showcase. I asked prices from one of them and the guy said he didn't have nay info sheets. Who doesn't bring info sheets to a showcase where you are a house vendor? (I immediatley ruled them out).

Then I was looking at sample pictures and I noticed that in one album, they took the most unflattering pics of the bridesmaids.

JIMO :Pictures are super important to your wedding so I don't recommend going with a vendor based on price or because they are the house vendor. I would read the Brides helping Brides board and then go see for yourself.
