Hi Ladies- I just went to the East Wind in Wading River today and saw the Contry Gardens and LOVED IT- so small and quaint... anyone have any stories about East wind- good or bad? just wanna make sure i book the right place....

right i've heard only good things and that they're food is great- i'm looking to book in either sept or oct of '09- I'M SO EXCITED!!!! the estate is so pretty too- i just didnt have enough people for that one.... you going to the expo on august 6th?

Yeah, I know the owner, I graduated with his niece and I know his daughter. They are really very good. Just their basic package is amazing, plus they give you seconds on your meal! FH loved that! We booked Nov. I went to the Expo back in April, but I'm pretty sure I'll go in August too, I might bring a different BM with me. Congrats on everyhing! Hope you book so you can be an East Winder too!!

Im getting married at the country gardens in three weeks (OMG) I have had nothing but positive experiences thus far and have heard rave reviews from people who have been to weddings there and the food is amazing!!

Yay! Good Luck with everything and can't wait for your review and pics! I was in a wedding at Country Gardens and it was great! The food was sooo good. I love the stuffed shrimp.

DH and I had our reception at the Estate at East Wind this past December and we couldn't have been more pleased with our entire experience! You cannot go wrong with EW! I have more info and some pics in my review. Good luck!

I'm getting married at the Estate! I'm so excited. So far, everything is great.
I'm having a string quartet so my DJ won't be there until the reception. So, the DJ said that the EW should have a microphone and speaker box for the officiant to use for the ceremony. When I asked the EW if they had one they told me that I could rent one from them. ummm...hellooo...it's sitting in a closet...please, how much am I spending there? I thought that was a little nuts. I didn't say anything as I figured I have plenty of time to fight that battle.
