Did you ladies use the cake from Rolling Pin? What type of cake did you have? Were they easy to work with? How did the cake come out? Just wondering. TIA

I'm wondering the same thing. I put up a thread about Rolling Pin yesterday. Not too many responses though.

Re: East Wind Brides
I'm getting married on Friday and will be having the cake from them. I actually never tried it...
We are doing chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and cannoli w chocolate chip and hazlenut mousse. I hope it's good.
The cake design I chose looked like it was fondant and the East Wind said they think that it will cost extra. I am also having glitter on it. I e-mailed rolling pin and they were awesome about getting back to me and said they could do it in buttercream and had no issue using edible glitter. And, the east wind (or rolling pin)isn't charging me anything extra for the cake.
