East wind brides, all inclusive or not?

Pretty certain we are going to book at east wind. I am debating if the all inclusive package is worth it, money wise.

The BM mentioned if we choose to not go with it we are looking at a savings of $6-7k off the package price.

The way i see it, i can probably get what they are offering for $6-7k

They are offering in the all inclusive,

- basic 5 hour dj package, which i would have to upgrade anyway
- photo and video basic, definitely need upgrades
- 10 centerpieces, no other flowers so would still need to upgrade
- overnight stay at inn

What did you decide?

East wind brides, all inclusive or not?

For everything you just described we're paying a little less than 6k, granted I'm not getting a huge photography package - but I didn't want an album I just wanted the pics on a disc. We originally went to look at the all inclusive but we had a little too big of a guest list, then we just fell in love with the Estate. I also liked the idea of picking out my own vendors based on who I clicked with the most.

East Wind is great, either way you'll love it! HTH! Good luck

East wind brides, all inclusive or not?

I got married at the Estate before they advertised the all incisive package. We definitely spen't more than 6 on the remaining items and I made my own centerpieces with a Lil help from florist. We needed a good photo package bc my husband's parents are divorced so we needed or album plus 3 parent albums. We knew the dj but also splurged on a photo booth.
You definitely save with their deal. But like the other poster, our guest list was too high and I wanted the Estate since before I was engaged!

East wind brides, all inclusive or not?

I strongly considered this option- it just seemed so easy to have everything done! When I did the math though, it made sense to find the vendors on my own if I went with east wind- plus I got to choose who I wanted and clicked with. I knew I wanted Tommy's Tunes so I was happy they were included (but like you said I would have had to add on extra time for the ceremony). The DJ package they offer, you can get on your own for about $1500. The photographers they use (Marco and ADA) don't get the best reviews and I think that package worked out to be a little less than $2,000 (no albums or extras included). The centerpiece options ranged between $30-$35 (so about $300-350 for 10 tables). Video I don't remember- but I asked about chair covers and they said they could swap out video for those (doesn't quite seem like a fair trade lol). I would think chair covers would only be about $500 but that number I'm just guessing for. As far as the inn, even if you don't do the all inclusive package you get a free night. So I valued all their extras to be worth between $4000 and $4500. If you are interested in the cottage, I would definitely just take the 6-7 grand off and find your own vendors. Hope that helps!

East wind brides, all inclusive or not?

I am an Estate Bride! I would say that sounds like a good deal because I spent nearly $7000 on the video/photo but it all depends what you want. My DJ Photo/Video Florist all cost around $10,000 i believe so you seem like your getting a deal! The free night was included HTH :)
