Well twelve reception halls later, FH and I have a date held for the east wind estate for 5/28/06! (He hated my first two choices watermill and Jericho Terrace) Just trying to secure the date with the church first! if all goes well we will book on Saturday! Keep your fingers crossed!!
Well, it looks as though getting married in the church will not be a problem without my communion! So Saturday at 1:00pm we have an appointment to book the Estate at East wind for 5/28/06!!! I cant believe it!! So I guess I wont be making the GTG this weekend! Sorry maybe next time!!!

Re: East wind!
Well the church is available for our date! But my mil says i need to have my holy communion before they let me get married there. i only have been baptized catholic. I really do not want to go thru the whole communion thing. do you think this will be a problem?

I believe you need to have all your sacraments before you get married at a catholci church.

Re: East wind!
As long as one person is fully 'Catholic' ie communion, confirmation etc then the couple can usually get married there. The limitiation is the full mass, where both people must be full catholic.
