How many kids do you want? i guess its preggo week so all the questions have to deal with babies..

how many and why that amount?

we are shooting for 3

i think we will have 3 so they can out number us and keep life going

i grew up ina family with 4 kids and i always remember having to wait forever to get a table at restaurants, not being able to find a toothbrush holder with 6 slots, etc.
so we're shooting for 2 - one of each...for convenience's sake

we both want 3 - but i say lets see how the 1st one goes. we both come from families of 5, 3 kids, 2 parents - so it just feels right that way

I don't think you can really decide until after you have them. It all depends on the kind of child you have and your finances.

That's true! My uncle has 3 & the third is such a handful , that they said if they had him first they may not have had anymore!

my mom is one of 4 & I like having all the aunts & uncles & cousins for holidays. DH is an only & I have 1 brother who will probably never have kids, so I feel bad that my kids won't have cousins, so it would be nice if we could at least give them a few siblings!

Neither FH or I are big 'kid' people. I love em and think they are super cute, but I'm just not sure if I want any of my own. So for now, my answer is 0 (although I think if we stick at 0, his parents will kill us!) If we do decide to have kids in the distant future, we both want 2!

We might stop at one. We'll have to see how it goes. But the 2 is the max.

I want 2, DH wants 3, which I am not opposed to. I keep telling him there are so many factors to consider, so we will have to see how things go once we TTC. If we only have one, I will still be happy.

one of each would be nice, but I'll be happy either way.

FH was always scared of having a little girl - he said they are 'so difficult' - UNTIL he became a teacher!

Now the little girls are his favorite, 'cause they listen and don't throw pencils!

2. I want 2, FH wants 1 - but not more than 2. He says that you should never allow the kids to outnumber you
