Easy Poll: how many do you want?

How many kids do you want? i guess its preggo week so all the questions have to deal with babies..

how many and why that amount?

we are shooting for 3

i think we will have 3 so they can out number us and keep life going

In a perfect world, I would love 2-3

Right now working on #1 is tough enough and I'm not getting any younger so really I will very happy with at least 1 healthy, happy child of either sex.

2. I want 2, FH wants 1 - but not more than 2. He says that you should never allow the kids to outnumber you

Wow FH said the same thing to me. We settled on two. I wanted more(I'm an only child) and he wanted only 1 (he's 1 of 5 kids).
I think it's a goog compromise

either 2 or 4. DH only wants 2, but if having 4 means he's gets to be a SAHD, then he wants 4 Most likely we'll have 2 (god willing), but twins also run in the family (both SILs have twins), so hopefully if we have twins, we'll have 'em first

2 if we have a boy and a girl, IF NOT, we will TRY for the 3rd of whatever we didnt get, and then we will stop at 3

I am an only child and I didnt like it growing up and even as an adult I dont like it, so I know NOT one...

I don't think you can really decide until after you have them. It all depends on the kind of child you have and your finances.

That's true! My uncle has 3 & the third is such a handful , that they said if they had him first they may not have had anymore!

my mom is one of 4 & I like having all the aunts & uncles & cousins for holidays. DH is an only & I have 1 brother who will probably never have kids, so I feel bad that my kids won't have cousins, so it would be nice if we could at least give them a few siblings!

My dd, who is the 1st was ALWAYS a handful. She has recently been diagnosed with ADHD so we now know why. We DID go for the 2nd though because we always knew we didn't want just one. Luckily we got a boy as I don't know if I would go for the 3rd. My ds is MUCH calmer than my dd so he is a little easier. He is stubborn but not all the time.
