...if you baby is a girl or a boy?

My sister just had her baby this Saturday and wanted to be surprised about the results. It was worth the wait as they would just be happy with just having a baby. It was worth while for my sister as she wanted a girl but everything felt like it was boy (where they stayed in belly and the hard kicks)

What do you think ?

another one ... the baby was born with a full head of hair... when they (family) found out, 1st question was, did you have heartburn. i must of heard that at least 10 times over the weekend.

My mom swears by the heartburn tale as it was true for both me and my brother. We had SO much hair when we were born.

but to disprove that, she didnt... i forgot to mention that

She didn't have hair? Or your sister didn't have heartburn???

My cousin was born with a head and a half of hair and my aunt said she didn't have heartburn.

I think I would want to know. I hate surprises. I have too much anxiety for surprises.

Congratulations on becoming an uncle! But I'm not sure whether I'd want to know of not. I think I would start out wanting it to be a surprise, but I'm not sure I could hold out the 9 months. I'm terrible with surprises.

same here. i definately agree that there are 'so few surprises in life'.. but i think having a baby is magical enough in itself. i would probably not be able to keep from people what we are having, But i wouldnt tell them the names.

Had to know. I always thought I'd want to wait but once I found out about my unplanned pg, that was enough of a surprise for me, thank you very much. I think it's nice to know because it helps you grow an attachment to the baby before it's even born.

Congratulations on becoming an uncle.

I used to think that it had to be a surprise. But over time I've decided that I want to know.

When my aunt and uncle had their first child, they had the doctor write it on a card. They then shared a special dinner together and open the card together (at the same moment) so that they would know at the same time and make it a special occasion. I always thought that that was nice. So maybe we'll do something like that when our time comes.

I love surprises! I'd want to wait!

Plus I'll probably do the nursery n a disney theme anyway and that's universal!

me too. I'm too much of a control freak NOT to know!

I want to be ready w/ the name, the clothes, the bedding, etc.

congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! Uncle!!!!!!!!!

while dh would want to know, i want the surprise. everyone i know, including my dad/stepmom and bil/sil found out. to me, it is like knowing what you are getting for christmas in september and having to wait. i do feel in the minotiry. knowing would make things easier but i've heard of surprises anyway.

I'd want to know, just so I know how to shop for the baby and set up the room!! Ahhh how I can't wait until this time comes....well I can wait...financially we can't afford a baby right now, plus I want to spend time with my FH first before we jump into any thing
