...with your SO?
DW and I have been lucky to work with each other for the past 3 years.... this is her last week we drive in together, have lunch etc... as she found a much better job (actually the same but more $$$)

i will miss her

i think its nice. we spend more time together and we save on gas

No. I LOVE the fact that we work close enough to each other that we're able to meet for lunch a couple of times a week and can carpool if needed, but to work in the same bldg....eekk!

In reality, we could never work together. He works in computers and I'm going to be a child psychologist.

You could hypothetically work in the same facility.
My husband works in the IT department of a psychiatric hospital.

I would like it if DH at least worked in the same city!

I think I would prefer to either work in unrelated jobs in the same company or very closely in our own business. We work well together, but I wouldn't want cowrkers all in our personal bussiness.

I said no, but actually DH almost worked where I work! I work for the largest employer on LI, so if he worked in another area I would probably never see him, but we would have the benefit of commuting together, etc. In the same department would be a little too close for me.

we used to work together, thats how we met. but to do it now, i don't think so. i like what we have now and i think tooo much of a good thing, is just too much.

We also used to work together, but now I wouldn't want to all the time. We'll be in the same field, (me a teacher, him a school psychologist) but even if he's assigned to whatever school i'm working at, i'd probably rarely see him.

We met at work and it had it's good & bad points.

We worked together for 6 years before one of the managers I supported made DH's life absolutlet miserable until he quit!! Then a few months later offered me a job I couldn't resist.

It definitely can complicate things, in addition to having a daily lunch buddy!

That is So what I was gonna say. I would LOVE to work with FH, but I don't think I would get any work done EVER! He is too cute - he would be such a distraction

I have gone in to work with my fiance (he works in his family's business) and helped with stuff, and I liked being there and spending as much time as i can with him. We dont really get on each others nerves.
