Okay I have a question. what do you do to eat comfortably and not worry about your gown getting dirty?

just eat and enjoy! At that point in the night who cares if you get a little spot on your dress! Or put a napkin on! I ate everything..red sauce, brown sauce you name it!

i ate whatever i wanted...but got a huge spot of red sauce on the bottom of my dress. my bridal attendant came to the rescue with a tide pen, club soda and a napkin. and when she felt that you still could see the spot (you couldn't) she made another 'bustle' on each side of my dress to cover it up. thats what they are there for!

My mother said she's making me a giant bib since I always wear my food, LOL.

When it came to eating dinner my BA put a white tablecloth over me so that nothing would get on me at all, I ate all of my dinner and didn't get a drop of food on my dress.
They did that also when they brought me in food from the CH

for ch, my ba tucked a napkin in my dress from the chest down and then laid a napkin on my lap. for dinner, obviously a napkin just for the lap. and just be careful
eta:: we ate ch in the bridal suite, lol. i didnt walk around like the napkin bride
