Has anyone purchased diamonds on Ebay? If so, were you pleased with them? Did you have them appraised? Any info would be appreciated!

A friend of ours bought his wife's e-ring on ebay & it is gorgeous. I think if the seller has good feedback, it should be fine. But always get it appraised in my opinion.
