I want to bid on a tiara, but the bidding ends at 1AM. I don't want to stay up that late--how should I bid? Place a low bid, then do that auto-bidding thing til the top price I want to pay?

On your first bid? Or do you do the auto bid til it reaches the highest? I only bought a couple things on ebay before...

I do what Julz does - put in the highest price you are willing to pay (double check shipping costs). Ebay will automatically add to your bid in the proper increments so that you will be the highest bidder until your top price is beat. good luck.
