So if you haven't seen there is this lunar eclipse tonight and its happening in conjunction with the solstice AND a meteor shower, so I convinced a bunch of my friends to go to this mountain at 2am to go look :)
If you girls have a good view, go outside and look! Sometime between midnight and 1ish NY time, I think.

Ugh it was soooo cloudy!
We went to the top of this mountain to get away from the lights of the base, and it was so great looking. The moon was so super bright and so were the stars, but we could only see the eclipse through the breaks in the clouds.
It was supposed to shine like red, and some people saw it do that but we didn't see anything but bright light. Also, there was supposed to be a meteor shower, and we couldn't see it either :(

Yea the clouds really ruined it but early in the evening around 7ish there was a really cool ring around the moon. FH & I watched it for a while and thought it was pretty cool so we were upset when we got up in the middle of the night and didnt see anything lol

We just walked outside at 2:40 in the morning to try to see it. Then, all we saw were clouds.
