I like his website Ed Collins Photo

Anyone know anything about him, e.g. rates, personality?

He was pretty reasonable. We met with him this past Spetmeber and I think an average package with albums was around 2500. He was pretty laid back.

I know 2 people personally that used him, 1 other person on here used him as well. I met with him, the only reason I did not book him was b/c I was getting more for the same money with Imagine. His work his awesome tho. If you are interested go see it in person, he has nicer work in his studio. Great guy with a great eye. Dgtlsunshine and Jennyb used him.

Hey I used him. I loved him. He has a great personality. I felt like it was a friend of mine taking the pics. He kept us laughing too. Let me see if I can find my pics posted and bump so you can see them.

I used him and I loved him!! He was so nice and comfortable. He made everyone feel at ease and the pictures came beautiful. He did about 50% black and white and 50% color. The best part was that I didn't even know he was there most of the day - he never bothered us. He never pulled us out of our party mode to take posed pics. I'm big into candid and he did a great job. We took posed shots with the family, etc. for about 90 minutes before the ceremony and that was it. I highly recommend him. I posted a few shots on the newlywed board of some of the Thank Yous I was considering. Do a search and you'll see. Definitely meet with him, he's great.

I booked him for my July 5 wedding and am so comfortable with this decision. I had an appointment to see him a couple of months ago (before I booked) and I cancelled at the last minute due to a sick cat. He called me several days later, inquired about the cat, and wanted to know if I was interested in rescheduling. What a nice guy! I did meet with him and his work was amazing, plus he is laid-back and so, so pleasant! I can't wait to work with him in July!

We're using Ed for our October wedding. We took engagement pics recently & they came out excellent, we've gotten nothing but compliments. He has reasonable prices & packages - he's a good choice for your photographer we're looking forward to working with him :)
