.edit title. bridesmaid dresses poll

My bms first agreed on matching, but i have bms on budgets and others who like different dresses. I really dont care what they wear i want them to be confortable and feel beautiful.

I know the color will not match perfectly but i think chocolate brown should be easy to match with a little color variation.

sorry i confused everyone... the poll question should be different dress in same color.

i am completley a Type A personality... therefor ... all of my BM dresses will be matching.. i was originally going to do the MOH differnet but the same color but it was hard to find Blues that matched with out looking like we tried to match the color..

I voted yes but then I wasn't sure if that was right....my girls are having different dresses, same designer and fabric. So not matching I guess, but the question in the poll was the opposite answer than in the post I think hehe....ah well.

The answer is not matching, but same designer and fabric.

have to have them match....want them to stand out and i think if they are different they would not stand out....

At first I wanted them to match. Then I gave them 5 different choices of the same color but different dresses. They have totally different body types. And they chose the same dress (not even one I picked out!!!)

At first I was going to let my girls select the best dress for their body types. I had a bad dream (I know it is sad) that all their dresses would not look good together and I decided to get a dress that looks nice on all of them. So they are all matching.

I am the same way, and my girls are all wearing the same dress in the same color. If the same dress REALLY wasn't going to fly for all of my girls I would have compromised and let them pick different styles, but they all have similar-enough body types and the dress they picked was flattering on all of them.

Yes.. the dress they picked! I was a little more flexible in that respect (letting them pick the dress, as long as I didn't hate it and it came in blue) hoping that then they would all wear the same thing. They are happy, and I'm happy too.

I was open to my MOH wearing the same dress in a different color but the BM dress didn't come in many colors and there wasn't one that would work.

I like when BMs wear the same dress in different colors better than different dresses in the same color, but then again I'm really anal (my girls will be picking their own shoes though, whatever they want and non-matching -- i'm not a total bridezilla)

I had the dresses match--both for uniformity as well as my own laziness. I didn't want to deal with multiple dress orders. (That said, I deliberately chose a low-cost dress and shoes that were comfortable.) It's a personal preference and it's completely up to you. If cost is an issue, check out the discounters like Pearl's Place, NetBride, or RK Bridal.

one of my bms is going to be in 3 other weddings, another is in between jobs so I wanted to keep costs down for them.

Picking out dresses is such a pain because my girls range from a size 2-14, everyone seems to have a problem with something. So i thought it would be easier if I picked out the color, they pick the dress and I approve.
