some more....

Harrison House, the Mansion at La Salle, HR Singleton's, also Culinary Architect Catereres have a few properties they work with (I believe they're in P. Wash). I tried to go the mansion route but found them either too small, too run down or too expensive - good luck! I'm having m reception at Land's End in April - did you lose a lot of money with the cancellation? When was your date?

We are having our wedding at deSeversky in 6 weeks!!! It is a gold coast mansion and is owned by the New York Institute of Technology--it is their culinary arts institute (so you know their food is absolutely amazing!). I don`t have their number on me, but you could a search on this web site, and I have written Bob Ventresca`s (the person in charge) number before. Let me know if you have any questions-- Good luck!

what happened?

Did anything happen with Lands End??? Why are you changing? Did you look into the mansion on Dowling College? Vanderbilt is really beautiful as well, Crocadile Dundee II was filmed there. btw siren - oheka also has a $9000 site fee and really only holds about 150 comfortably.

Siran

my friend got married in july and had the wedding at the castle. she lucked out because she booked in jan of this year and there happened to be 1 date opened in july. i think the site fee is $10,000 but they got it for $5000 due to the short notice. the castle is beautiful, food is awesome and the staff is amazing. the banquet manager spoke w/ us for awile at the wedding and was so down to earth and friendly. i think the price is around $200 pp. she had 180 and there was plenty of room. if you have more people they can add a tent onto the room. we arrived there at 9:00 in the morning, got our hair and makeup done, had breakfast and lunch, got dressed and took pic before the church. the guys arrived around 1 ate lunch and got dressed. the rooms are gorgeous. the bride and groom also stay at the castle for the night. it`s worth chceking it out. if you have any more questions, please ask.

Who has the phone number to oheka castle?

when I looked at oheka it is amazing in any weather - there was fog that day but it gave it an enchanted look. My mom liked the idea that you have it for the whole entire day and you also get the bridal suite free of charge (they say its a $1500 value) others can stay overnight at the castle as well for $500 a night - the site fee goes down 1000for a sunday or friday and if you have it in the winter they cut it in half. They suggested mothers day to us as well for a discount, but I didn't want May. The prices for sat night were $240pp. To me the room did not look that big, but perhaps the tent would work - you do have the whole castle, but then you risk having people wandering. It was definitely my second choice. ALso Kahn owned a mansion on Central Park and I believe its only about $100- 110pp. check it out. Oheka advertises on this site, but the one in the city I found in the Fortunoff magazine. best of luck planning - when you go to the castle they give you the A&E special on castles where it was featured. Quinn- good idea to wait...The extra year will help!
