Oh hell no. I'm sorry but you have to wear that on your hand FOREVER, I'd politely explain to her that this ring was intended for a man and you appreciate her help, but you'd be happy to purchase your own.

Awwww... I agree with you, I'd be upset about it too,

When you talk to FH, just make sure you're not super emotional or angry. Just be level and clear and logical. I'm sure he'll understand, hon. Good luck.

ETA< were you planning on being able to wear your E-ring with your band? Cause clearly with that, you can't, I think that's your best argument.

ETA #2: THe jeweler is a moron if they knew they were selling the band to serve as a WOMAN's wedding band.

I'm sorry. I agree.

Ok, yea it definitely is too big for your finger. Your FH doesn't see that?

I would *calmly* explain to him that you just think it looks too big on your finger and it won't sit properly with your e-ring.

I can see why you are upset

It's not terrible, but it IS too thick for your finger. Maybe if it was just the thickness of the diamonds in the middle without the thickness around it?

Regardless, like the other girls mentioned, try not to get very emotional and angry when talking about the ring. It was a gift and you need to handle the situation delicately and calmly. I'm sure you'll be fine!!

It is a bit thick and doesnt really go with your e-ring. Just tell him they dont match and it makes no sense to have a ring that doesnt match. You dont even have to say you hate it : )

oh no sweetie.. I totally would be upset too.. A ring is something you shoud pick out yourself.. I understand it was a nice gesture them paying but the fact that its not what u wanted is upsetting..

aawww i'm sorry...i have to agree with you that it does look manly... and it def does not go with your e-ring- you need something a little more delicate to sit next to it, IMO.

I would use the excuse that it doesnt match and is uncomfortable on your ring bc it is bulky

def be calm when you approach FH...and if all else fails....CRY!!! most men cant say no to a woman who is crying!

First off so sorry you had to deal with that. I agree with you though (sorry) that it looks like a man's ring. But you are right, this is the ring you are going to wear for the rest of your life and you should love it uncomditionally. Godd Luck

Its a nice ring but it doesn't look like it would fit on your finger with your e-ring. Like everyone else said, stay cool and calm when you confront your FH and FILs. Best of Luck!
