Can you ladies give me some ideas for an after party that doesn't cost a lot of money.
We are getting married on a Sunday and the wedding is over by 5pm we really want to continue the party somewhere else. Any ideas? Somewhere near East Wind or near McArthur Airport.

I am an idiot- we are leaving from Laguradia not MacArthur- so does anyone know about any hotels around there that have good deals for after parties?

do you have a hotel block? We blocked off the bar at the hotel our guests are staying at! FM me if you want info...near the airport!

We plan on blocking hotel rooms @ a hotel with a bar.

yea i would say to block off the bar at whatever hotel you blocked or are planning of blocking rooms at. that sounds like a really cool after party idea. my sister had a backyard party for her after party but then you have to clean up all that mess and stuff the next day so i would highly reccommend the hotel bar idea.

Our wedding will be over at 11:30 pm and we're 'renting' a conference room in our hotel for $200. They'll set it up for us and have any snacks/drinks we provide refrigerated and then served on tables for us. It's just so everyone who wants to can gather and unwind after the reception. HTH!

We have a suite and we're probably going to invite the bridal party in for a while to hang out, maybe walk through downtown port jeff or something, ours is also over at 5 and it's too early! One of my friends threatened to hook up rockband in our suite during the reception!
