I have no idea what I want to do- go without pantyhouse all together or wear thigh highs and garters . . . . are they comfortable?
THey were comfortable, but like any pantyhose worn under a big heavy wedding gown, I got warm real quick. I ripped them off right after the 1st course.
My feeling is that unless you have perfectly straight legs, thigh highs never look or feel too good. I have pretty long legs but they are far from perfect and I know that thigh highs would cause me great misery. I have no idea what Ill end up doing.
I wore thigh highs and I do not have long thin legs... they stayed up no problem and were comfortable.
I wore thigh hi's for the first time on my wedding day - they felt fine - didn't bother me at all. It wasn't until the honeymoon when i realized i had all marks on my legs from them - real pretty in shorts!!!
I get the ones from VS with that dont need garters , they have like a plastic on the inside of the lace and stay up awesome. Ive worn them on several occasions with no prob...dont get them too big though or they fall.
