So, if STDs were never sent out, would the consensus be that invites to the wedding must be sent out prior to invites to the shower, therefore hosting the shower much closer to the wedding?
Would you, and or should anyone feel insulted by being the recipient of an invite to a bridal shower without first receiving an invite to the wedding?

Re: Poor Etiquette??? (Bridal Shower)
as far as i know the shower invites are typically sent out prior to the wedding invites since the wedding is after the shower. so you should be fine. HTH!!

if you sent STD then yes before the invite, if no STDs then after. I did mine after cause I didnt send STDs.

Ditto. We sent out shower invites AFTER wedding invites. We did not send out STD's and did not want to invite people to the shower that we were not certain would be invited to the wedding.

Re: Edited... Poor Etiquette??? (Bridal Shower)
My cousin sent out shower invites before the wedding invites went out. But she did do STD's. If someone is invited to the shower, then they assume they are invited to the wedding.

Isn't it poor etiquette to send out invites for your shower? I thought someone was supposed to host the shower in the brides honor. The host would send out the invites.
