First thanks to everyone for responding and voting. 4anyone that didn't see it, I was questioning my favor for the wedding ...because one of my bridesmaids mentioned to me tonight that she didn't want to do any kind of edible favor/candy for my shower since that was cheesy. My favor for the wedding is a personalized satin bag filled with my favorite-jelly belly jelly beans. Now I'm stressing that this might be considered cheap or cheesy. I recieved this at a wedding last year and LOVED it..but what do I know, I'm easy to please.

Anyway, I really did lose sleep over this last night. Thank goodness I don't have work today. Please bear with me one more time. I found some other items that I think are cute. Def. will be a lot more $ than the candy which is never a good thing when you're paying for an entire wedding out of your own pocket but I was more concerned about giving people a bunch of crap they'll never use. LOL. I thought edible was best ( and still actually do).

Please let me know which of these you'd most like to get. The satin bag filled with jelly beans ( or maybe chocolates, haven't decided) or one of these gifts. The wine couple set is very different than anything I've ever seen and I LOVE wine. It says 'Cheers to a Great Couple' on it. The champagne bucket is a timer also and it says ' It's about time'on it. I'm going to be 34 this June...I def took my time finding the one!! I think both will fit inside the bags but not positive. ugh

Please let me know your thoughts and don't worry about hurting my feelings. I didn't buy anything other than the bags yet. I'm def keeping them, I love them. I got the gold color and the cream color, they are both very pretty. Thanks!!!

Also..if you don't like any of them, PLEASE tell me what to do: )

I like useful gifts. Candy for the shower is great! If you like that for the wedding use it maybe do cholocates as well just in case some people may not like jelly beans.
Other suggestions: (ps- i like the wine glasses) if it is not too pricey i would suggest that. Look for things that people can use versus throwing them out if you want FM and I can tell you what i ordered (at a great price)

I KNOW some ppl might get mad about this, but if i receive anything like wine glasses, i dont want it personalized. No offense to anybody but if i am going to pull out wine glasses, i dont want it to look like Ooo look the wine glasses we use are favors we received.

I agree, I got a glass favor once engraved with their date and i remember thinking, wow i'll never drink out of this, lol.

I like all of them.

Personally - I like the timer, my cousin gave them at her wedding (her and her FH were engaged 9 yrs before they got married) - and it was the cutest thing ever.

I LOVE jelly bellies - BUT not everyone likes jelly beans.

Go with the wine set - it will prob get the most use from people.

This is just MY honest opinion, so nobody hate me for this:

I think for a shower an edible favor is cool. However, for a wedding, I'm anti-edible favor. I feel as if by the time people come to your wedding, they will have given a gift for your shower and put some money in an envelope...a thank you at the wedding in the form of candy is just not enough for all they've done. JMO

i wouldn't stress...edible favors are not cheesy. Don't worry about what other people think.

I think that champagne timer is ADORABLE. But I think that if you really have your heart set on the jelly beans then you should def do it. I have been to plenty of affairs that gave out edible favors and I think they are great.

I like the jelly belly idea ... its something that is personal since you like it and the bag makes it look reallly pretty. I think its perfect for a shower gift.

If you really want to do jelly beans that badly, why don't you do them in the bags and then get another favor too? A lot of people do the jordan almond packages aka bombenieri for us Italians, which is candy....personalized with our names and date. Then we give a gift too......maybe you can do that???

The bags are beautiful and to anyone who comes to my wedding and is unhappy with the elaborate cocktail hour, 7 choice of entree,wine bottles on tables for every couple or chocolate fountain vietamese hour and still expecting some kind of extravagance on top of that..well, I wish they'd stay home then. Seriously, STAY HOME. I don't go to weddings expecting anything other than to be happy for the person I went there to see. I guess that's just me..LOL
