EEEEE! I'm so excited!!!

But I can't get my hopes up TOO much.

I teach in NJ and naturally am having my wedding on LI since I grew up there. The hardest part was imagining my day without my students. I got the word out but I really didn't think I''d see anyone. When I got some gifts at the end of the year, I mentioned it again in their thank you cards. I heard from a parent today!!! She thinks since they make trips out to LI they might come!

The funny thing is though, she has a different last name than her daughter so I honestly have no idea which Jessica it is! I'm guessing it's one of my first grade Jessicas. And I LOVE those girls!!!

Oh man you have no idea how thrilled I'd be to see one of my students there! I knew it was a long shot- not only being so far away, but being the music teacher. It was harder to get the word out to 400+ students. I did have one 3rd grader who was obsessed with the idea of coming - but her mom didn't think they could make it. I'd love it if she surprised me too!

YEEA!!! I really hope I'm not getting my hopes up for nothing!! Even if it's just one student I can't tell you how happy I'd be!!
