Eff you, Honeymoons Galore Dot Com

I went to that Great Bridal Expo last night with the intention of getting some travel info for the honeymoon, booking BM dress shopping with David's Bridal, and looking at some photog books.

I get to the Honeymoons Galore booth and I was asking for booklets about Canada and the American Southwest, specifically the Grand Canyon/Sedona area. The jerk representing them tells me 'oh honey, those really aren't honeymoon destinations'

Um, WHAT?

They are for FH and I!!!!!

I just stood there for a second with an 'oh no she diiiiiiiin't' look on my face (inner tranny comes out in this situations) and she breaks the silence with 'you should take a look into the Caribbean!' and hands me some booklets. I dropped them like they were a cold dead fish and said 'oh honey...those really aren't honeymoon destinations'

ETA: Before any starts from my comment to the jerkoffasaur representing them - I didn't mean that the Caribbean isn't a honeymoon destination. I mean, obviously it is. Anyplace is, as long as it's what the couple wants, which is what I was trying to convey to her.

omg. i stayed at a freaking gorgeous marriott in arizona - and it was a short drive to sedona. i totalllly recommend it. the hotel even had a lazy river!! and there is nightlife not too far away!

if you want me to find out which one it was, let me know and ill look thru old emails

i was there on business, so ireally dont know how much it costs. but it was such an awesome trip! i recommend it!

Wow!!! Who is she to say that it isnt a HM destination?? A HM is anywhere you want it to be. I had a friend years ago who went on their HM to Manhattan. People were like Manhattan??? You go to work there every day?? But she had a great time- went to see Broadway Plays and did alot of touristy things that you dont get to do living in NY.
So moral of this story is.. You can go whereever you want and have a great time on your HM
