ugh. . seriously usually I'm like at least you have a job but thos. people from what I gather ALREADY underpay you and overwork you. . . seriously I know the economy is bad but you should totally start to look for another job!! they don't deserve you!

I've had some time to absorb this, and I had about an hour long one-on-one with my boss to talk about it on a more individualized basis. It's just not good! I'm now going to be making TEN DOLLARS MORE than the original salary I made when I started here, which is poverty line level, and the only reason I started at that level was because I was SUPPOSED to be making commision as well, but that changed after I accepted the position shady shady.
So I said I would only like to work 34 hours a week lol so my 'rate' would remain the same, and got a big fat no.
When I aired my grievances about how I am expected to be the backbone and hold down the fort, and as a result can never take time off, I was told this is a compliment to my abilities.
My abilities are no good IF I'M DEAD FROM EXHAUSTION.
Me and FH are going to have a pow wow tonight to formulate our game plan, because we can't get a house now. It was a stretch to begin with...now it's impossible.
AND I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on Friday now, how's that for short notice. Yes, I did have satisfaction saying I'm not coming in. And yes, I was asked if I was going to come in afterwards.
You can't make this shiz up.
