EInvites.com (questions long...sorry)

Anyone else ever order from einvites.com? I just ordered save the date cards from them and it was a pretty easy experience designing text color etc online. How do their prices compare to going into a shop and ordering similar invitations? I was doing other stationary searches on the internet and came across a Checkerboard company online who had what looked like the same exact site as einvites.com? Wierd? Is einvites just a dealer of Checkerboard brand invitations? I thought I'd save some time and energy and order from online but wanted to know about other ppl's experiences. I tried to do a LI Weddings search on einvites and got nothing but know other ppl have posted about them. Thanks in advance for your feedback. -A

EInvites is a company that has many different brands, checkerboard being one of them. You should also check out Invitationhotline.com. They also carry checkerboard and I believe are cheaper. I got my checkerboard invites from them.

Thanks for the info... When you order invitations online how do they handle the printing of guest's addresses on the front envelope? Do you send them an e-mail or document containing all the addresses? Thanks in advance, -A

I actually did the envelopes myself. However, I think you just send them a document with all the details. I actually called them and did the ordering over the phone. I just felt more comfortable speaking to someone. They were very helpful.

Do you receive a sample of your invite in the mail first?

I dealt with INvitation Hotline. They carry many types of invitations, and offer about a 20% discount. I didn;t feel comfortable ordering it online, so I called them. They were great. They were quick, and very helpful. They were the only place that did not hassle me about getting samples. I even got samples of the lining! My invitations were by Encore. I had them address the outer envelope. They have a program that you can install in your computer. It basically walks you through every single step. Very very easy. When you are done, you just email it to them! Hope this helps.
