I want to start looking into booking a DJ. Does anyone have any info on EJ the DJ? Can you send me any price quotes and what that includes? Thanks

Re: EJ the DJ...
I feel like someone recently wrote in their review that they actually used to work for EJ and loved having them for their wedding...I can't remember who wrote that though!

Re: EJ the DJ...
LIW brides have had good reviews on them so I made an appointment. Their office is located in Suffolk (I'm in Nassau) so I left work early (work in Manhattan) and took train all the way out to Suffolk where my fiance lives in order to make our appointment. I then get a phone call to confirm (just an hour or two before the appointment time) and he wanted to have the appointed at MY place. Why? b/c he lives in Long Beach and that's where I live. Why on earth would I DJ company want to come to my house to try and sell their company? It made zero sense to me...and when I told him that when I booked the appointment there was never a mention of it taking place at my house and that I'm already en route to his office he asked to reschedule! Needless to say it left a sour taste in my mouth and I never rescheduled. I found the whole thing unprofessional and have since met with other companies and was beyond impressed with LI Sound whom I ultimately booked!

Re: EJ the DJ...
I know that I had reached out to them prior to booking my dj that i went with. I ended up booking with my dj and received an email from ej the dj the day after so for comparison i asked for a price quote. They came back with a price that was 2.5 times higher than what i got with my dj!!!!!! So with that being said, i think that their prices are a little steep hahaha

Def not cool. They are recommended by lots of venues so I'm sure they are fine, but when this is my first experience with someone I'll potentially give a few thousand bucks to, I expect a lot more!!
