Eled & MS Math Teachers - I need help

Hey! I need some help! I need to do a math lesson with a literature connection.
It can be any grade K - 8 & any topic. Does anyone have any really great math/literature lessons that they dont mind sharing???? Or know of a website that is a good resource to look at???
I've found a bunch of great books, but am having a hard time.
The lesson HAS to use manipulatives.

You can always use The Very Hungry Caterpillar and do anything with counting or graphing... I did a lesson and actually made all of the food and the kids fed the caterpillar (a sock) and then did an activity in which the kids pretended they were the caterpillar and they chose what they would eat and we made a bar graph

Well, with Easter coming up, you could find some kind of book that has jellybeans mentioned in it and then do graphing using jelly beans.

I believe there are two m&m counting books out there. You can bring m&m's and the students follow along with the book and learn how to do math with chocolate.

There is a great book about spaghetti and meatballs that we just used in my class, but the title escapes me right now. I suppose that doesn't help much, does it???

If you want to do something with sequencing for grades K-1, you can do any book and just have the students sequence the events in the order they happened.
