Elidel:Check with your dr if you are using it.

Alyssa has exzema and the dr had originally prescribed Elidel for it. She had a check up today so I asked him about it because of the recent article. He told me NOT to use it anymore.So I just wanted to let you ladies know in case anyone else uses it. Check with your dr. Elidel

Your welcome. I didn't see the article last week either. My DH's cousin told me about it.
I'm so glad she did. When I asked the pediatrician, he told me NOT to use it anymore.

wow!! off topic, meaning not like i'm a parent, but dh was using elidel for about 2 months and although it worked wonders for his skin, he would get sick with a cold literally two hours later!!! and he just felt it wasn't 'right' although it worked. thank you!

I think these companies need to run more tests before they make it available for people to use.

My FIL saw a local news report regarding this cream over a month ago. (we live in CT). I immediately called my daughter's Dr. and she told us to stop applying this cream. Now we are back to using Hydrocortisone
