Elite palace - has anyone been there?

i wanted to know if anyone has been to a wedding there or had their wedding there.

i would love to hear honest reviews and see pictures.

we went to see the place in the beginning of our search .. the outside and surrounding is truly terrible to say the least. It has factories all around, but the inside is very nice , the price is great , and the food is exactly what we were looking for.

even though i said no initially now im considering going to check it out once again.

I think there was a post (you can search it on top) where people said that the staff never got back to them or would not book them unless it was 3 months?

Yeah there is a post going around about Elite Palace that i recently responded to but I can't seem to find the link. I went to Elite Palace during my search. Plus: the place is huge and there is only one wedding at a time which is great. The bridal and groom suite was so nice along with the reception area. I also liked the cocktail area. I also liked the menu and different types of food that they had to offer. The ceremony space was also really big but seemed a little cold (I saw it without the decoration so maybe that was it). Minus: the GM seemed a bit cool and rushed through our interview. He wouldn't give me prices for april which made me mad. The exterior is not that great but I'm from the city so it didnt bother me.

I actually like Elite. The only reason we didn't book was cuz they didn't have any available dates for Saturday in march or april next year. FM for more info on pricings. Good Luck!

this wedding hall search is getting so discouraging =\ . its been a bit over two months of searching every single weekend and we just cannot find anything.

I've been there when I was looking for venues. It was the first place that I went to and I was in love with it. We met with Enzo and he was very nice. I was dead set on having my wedding there. There wasn't anything major that mad me change my mind about having the wedding there just a few minor things.

1. Originally my date was 11/11/11. When we sat down with Enzo to pick the date he quoted us $85pp which was cool. I stupidly pointed out that our day was 11/11/11 big mistake. A few weeks later after I had hired my planner she called and he told her that they would charge us a premium because our date was 11/11/11. I thought that was very shady.
2. The price he quoted us was without 'premium' liquor. It seems that Elite Palace's idea of premium is completely different from everyone elses. They considered absolute premium and grey goose was 'super premium'. Mind you this was the first venue that I visited so when I went to other halls and asked about 'super premium' they looked at me like I had four heads.
3. Lastly I was a little concerned because the place was so new. I don't know why that bothered me but it did a little. Plus I never got over that whole price switheroo.

Other than that I still think the place is absolutely beautiful.

I went there for my cousin's wedding and I was not thrilled with elite palace. The CH was supposed to start at 8 we got there at 8 and they were still setting everything up and we had to wait before we could go in into the room.
At the CH the food was cold.

Also, while I was researching a RH for my wedding I did a food tasing at Elite Palace and I found a hair in their food. Basically after that we left and we never went back until my cousin's wedding.
The place is beautiful but I am not sure if I could trust them as they are really new in this business.

I am apologizing if I offended anyone but this is my experience with this hall.
