If a immediate member of your family eloped (not a complete surprise) would you send the gift right away or would you wait until the small celebration they are planning happens? The date of celebration not set yet?
TIA

I'd send them something small now, just as a little congratulations

Re: Eloping
I agree with giving something small now just to say congratulations because it is an immediate family member

Re: Eloping
I would give them something small now. My cousin did this, and we bought her a small present to congratulate them.

Re: Eloping
I would give them something now. They may not have a celebration.
I would wait for the party, if nothing is planed within the year then I would send a gift.

Re: Eloping
I would send them now....The gift is to celebrate the union not the party!! and you can always get a second smaller gift down the line for the party....expecially if they didnt have an e party or shower

Re: Eloping
I'd get them a little something if you know they're gonna do a celebration and then get them something bigger for that.
