I have an emerald cut engagement ring (beautiful!!!), that makes it hard to have a wedding band that sits nicely on my finget with it, so we are looking into having one made.
We have an appointment tomorrow at Elsa....
anyone else use them? What did you think?

Re: Elsa
I had the same issue with my ring as well. I actually meet with them last weekend and they were really nice. My ring should be coming in a couple of weeks.

Re: Elsa
That's where FH and I went to get my e-ring and I am going back there for my wedding band. They do excellent work and are soooo sweet. The one and only negative, is that sometimes it takes a really long time. They told us a date it would be ready and it actually took a bit longer, so don't hold your breath for the particular date they tell you - add 2 more weeks. I would definitely recommend them though.

Re: Elsa
A friend of mine raved about Elsa to me years ago. I met with them a few years back and I think they are reliable.
I don't think you will have anything to worry about.
I personally use the Diamond Roof in Tri-County as if you pay cash, they save you on the tax. Sam is the owner and he can make anything you want. He made my e-ring for me from scratch. It appriased for almost double what he charged us too.

hmmmm..that's a good point - I've used Turkan Jewelers at Tri County in the past...maybe I should check with them too?

FH got my e ring from Elsa and said she was wonderful - patient and helped him find exactly what he wanted. He went back 3 times before he decided on one!

i had the exact opposite experience. FH and i left there enraged at how rudely and nastily we were treated and i told them so 3 times when they called repeatedly afterwards. i even had a $200 GC that i got from LIW that i gave away because i refused to deal with them. i've never been so p issed off as when we left there

i also did not like them AT ALL...i spoke to them once at a bridal expo..showed them my ering which was hard to decided what would look nice with..her ideas were outdated..and she was rude and asked me how did i expect to find something to match with my e-ring considering how elaborate it is..i should just put something on the other hand..i was pissed..then they had the nerve to call me repeatedly 2 times a week..for months! was not happy

My Aunt works at Turkan Jewelers. That's where my ring came from. They have such beautiful stuff.

Re: Elsa
there was a woman who used to work there -- i think she's gone now -- we weren't happy with her but delighted with elsa and stephan! we went back to have our w-ring made and heard someone talking about her ... i love elsa's, it's the only place you can have your jewelry made exactly what you want.
