Re: email invites/quick invitations
IMO, I think that's tacky. It's not formal enough for a wedding and it could get weird, people could forward the e-mail and say, 'Look, I was invited... you weren't?' etc etc.
I think an e-mail invite would be okay for a party at your house or maybe your rehearsal dinner, but not your wedding. i know you have to get these out quick, but there are so many ways to do invitiations, you could order them at a place like party city or those hallmark stores and they could get them to you quick. or staples and other stores, sell invite kits and you could make your own. any of those options are better than an e-mail or e-vite, IMO.
