Emboss or not?

Hmm..I like the embossed look but I'm also all for saving some money...

I know we get caught up in everything with the wedding, but like we've all heard a ton of times.who really remembers the invitations?

Plus, its not like your settleing, your sister will prob do an amazin job!!!!!!

Do you mean thermography printed (raised)? While embossing can be done on invitations, I think most likely she means thermography.

Thermography and Letterpress printing are the traditional formats used for any type of formal invitation or stationery piece; although many brides these days choose to go with offset, or flat printing for cost reasons.

It is all a matter of personal choice and how important traditional ettiquetter rules are to you. There are not many occasions in life where you are throwing a formal event such as a wedding so why not go the traditional route?

you can have her design them and have them printed in a kinkos with thermography... isnt that similar?

She actually did an amazing job with her wedding invites... everything looked so professional!
